Phil Weiser (D)
Prior to his election, AG Weiser was the Dean of the University of Colorado School of Law. Before that, AG Weiser worked in the Obama Administration, first as Deputy Assistant AG in the U.S. Department of Justice, then as Senior Advisor for Technology and Innovation at the National Economic Council. Prior to that, AG Weiser taught at the University of Colorado Law School. During his time as a professor, AG Weiser also co-chaired Colorado Governor Bill Ritter’s Innovation Council and served on President Obama’s Transition Team. Prior to teaching, AG Weiser worked in the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. AG Weiser began his career clerking for Judge David Ebel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court Justices Byron White and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
