AG Raoul announces top staff

(Capitol Fax) – Attorney General Kwame Raoul today was sworn in as Illinois’ 42nd Attorney General. Born in Chicago to the son of Haitian immigrants, Raoul brings a lifetime of legal and policy experience, advocacy and public service to the Office of the Attorney General.

Attorney general-elect Raoul names former rivals to transition team

(Dispatch-Argus) – Chicago lawyer and former federal prosecutor Renato Mariottiand Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering will assist Raoul as he prepares to take over from current Attorney General Lisa Madigan, who chose not to run for re-election after four terms. Raoul, who defeated Republican opponent Erika Harold, will be sworn in as attorney general Jan. 14.

Raoul announces transition committee

(Capitol Fax) – Illinois Attorney General-elect Kwame Raoul announced the transition committee for his office today. The group will assist in transitioning the functions of the office from Attorney General Lisa Madigan to Raoul, who was elected to the office earlier this month.
