Steve Marshall (R)
AG Marshall was appointed by former Governor Robert Bentley in February 2017 to fill the vacant seat following former AG Luther Strange’s temporary appointment to the U.S. Senate. Prior to his appointment, he served as District Attorney of Marshall County, Alabama since 2001. Before that, he was a founding partner of McLaughlin & Marshall. He also served as a legal analyst for the Alabama House of Representatives, prosecutor for the Arab and Albertville, Alabama municipal courts, and as municipal attorney for Arab.
